Valvoline Limited Lifetime Guarantee

Level of coverage: Mileage at the time of initial service:
Coverage up to $4,000 Up to 50,000 miles
Coverage up to $2,000 Between 50,001 and 100,001 miles
Coverage up to $1,000 Between 100,001 and 125,000 miles
Coverage up to $500 Between 125,001 and 150,000 miles

(Vehicle coverage based on mileage at the time of first service. Coverage takes effect after 500 miles. Taxes, miscellaneous fees, core charges and diagnostics not covered.)

To maintain coverage you must repeat your service at required intervals, save your receipts and return to your original service provider.

15,000 Mile “Pop N Pour” Guarantee

Valvoline offers a Limited Lifetime protection program with our VPS Service Plus Warranty. When using VPS Top Treat Oil System Cleaner, Complete Fuel System Cleaner, Radiator Additive, and Automatic Transmission Additive every 15,000 miles, you will receive a Guarantee covering those components with up to $4,000.00 in coverage!



  • Complete Oil System Cleaner: 30,000 mile engine warranty.
  • Top Treat Oil System Cleaner: 15,000 mile engine warranty.
  • Full Synthetic, Maximum Protection Oil Additive: 5,000 mile engine warranty.

Valvoline Used Car Protection Plan

Vehicles serviced with the Used Car Restoration Kit receive added protection - up to $4,000 in engine, fuel system, cooling system and transmission parts and labor protection (in each system).

Eligibility of Coverage

Used Cars with 10,000 to 150,000 miles

Cars must be serviced with Valvoline’s used car system, including:

  • Oil System Cleaner: Engine internal components cleaning & protection system (performed with oil and filter change)
  • Transmission Protector, Conditioner, Cleaner and Sealer
  • Water Pump Lubricant, Cleaner & Protector
  • Complete Fuel System Cleaner & Treatment


Duration of Coverage

Coverage begins when 500 miles have been added after service and is valued as follows:

  • Level 1 - 10,000 to 50,000 miles when purchased - 500 mile buffer
  • Level 2 - 50,001 to 100,000 miles when purchased - 500 mile buffer
  • Level 3 - 100,001 to 125,000 miles when purchased - 500 mile buffer
  • Level 4 - 125,001 to 150,000 miles when purchased - 500 mile buffer


Limits of Coverage

Coverage on parts & labor of engine, transmission, fuel system and cooling system issues arising after installation of Valvoline products. Limitations as to the parts covered and certain exclusions apply. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. See terms and conditions for details.
